Tom has more than 15 years of experience in organizational development and training at all levels of the organization. He has a significant background in succession planning, leadership development, facilitating strategic planning and coaching senior executives. He has led efforts to create a corporate university, implement learning management systems, develop leadership programs across multiple levels and create processes to drive the performance necessary to support organizational strategy. He has been involved in multiple re-organization and re-engineering efforts with a special focus on organizational design and change management.
I am constantly impressed with the talent and passion we encounter within the organizations with which we partner. Most times, our primary role is to help focus that talent and passion on the critical issues impacting the organization and to facilitate discussions and interactions to reveal different ways to achieve organizational goals and objectives. The real satisfaction comes when I look back at the work we ve done and see not only a positive impact on the business but new relationships and abilities that have developed in the organization as a result of our work.
My wife Kathy and I have two young boys (ages 3 and 1). We have been on an extremely steep learning curve over the past few years trying to stay ahead of their remarkable growth and development (sometimes succeeding, others times not). We ve tried to share our passion for the outdoors and travel with the boys through many camping, fishing and hiking trips and excursions to various cities around the country. We look forward to taking them on their first international adventure to experience the wonderful opportunity to interact with people from another culture.
