"In a field where everyone has 'the right solution,' too often the right question is not being asked regarding deficiencies in performance. Asking better questions can lead to better solutions by virtue of identifying the right skills, knowledge and performance that need to be developed.
"Beyond asking the right questions, I've learned how important it is to generate and support diverse opinions and ideas when discussing an issue or attempting to resolve a problem. The best solutions don't come from conformity, uniformity or alignment& at least not initially. There is tremendous value in supporting diversity, because it is in that condition that the most creativity occurs. Only when everyone has been fully involved and heard can there be true buy-in and alignment around a solution.
"I get excited by this work because it offers the opportunity to explore the unknown with clients, work with the incredibly complex dynamics of people and people in relationship with each other, and produce unexpectedly better results."
